Craftin' Desert Diva's January Product Release Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the CDD January Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop.

Here's what I've created for you...

For my first card I used the Lovies stamp set.  I think these kitties are just so sweet!  I stamped them on 110lb white cs, then I masked them with a post it note, I diecut a circle with the Stitched in Circles dies in copy paper to make a mask for the hill of grass.  I then used my Tim Holtz's distress inks to blend the green grass and blue sky, spritzing with water afterwards to get the distressed look.  I colored the kitties with my Copic markers.  I used Fancy Frames dies to cut the mats.  For the kitties mat I used fun foam to pop them up on the card.

For my 2nd card I used the Popped Up mini stamp set.

I stamped the cute lil gopher on watercolor paper then I used Lyra Aquacolor crayons to color in the hill and sky, I then went over it with a wet brush to blend.  I used Fancy Frames dies for the mat and the In Line dies for the 'thanks' diecut, which I cut directly from the watercolor paper.  To pop it up I cut 5 more 'thanks' in reg white cardstock and layered them underneath.  I colored the lil gopher with Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor pens.  Stamped the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink.  To finish off the card I added the new Pink Heart Sequins and added a ribbon from my stash.

Day 4 January Release Craftin' Desert Diva's FB Sneak Peeks

Hello Friends!  

Today is Day 4 of CCD's FB Sneak Peeks!  Today we are showcasing Sweet Kisses stamp set and Scent mini stamp set.

I made 2 cards again today!  I am loving this stamp release so much that I just had to make a card everyday!  For my first card I used on e of the mice from Sweet Kisses.  I kept it clean and simple (for me) the card design is from a sketch off Pinterest.  I colored the mouse with Copic markers and then popped him up with fun foam, stamped the sentiment underneath with Versafine onyx black  ink, embossed the background with a Cricut embossing folder and to finish off the card I used some of the newly released sequins, Sweetness sequins mix, Pink Hearts sequins and Green Hearts Sequins.  

For my second card, I used the mini stamp set, Scent.  I just love this lil skunk, he is just too cute!!  I again colored him with Copic markers and popped him up with fun foam.  For the background I used Outdoor Landscape Dies for the hill, Stitched Scallop Dies for the clouds and Party Dies for the balloons.  I used Tim Holtz's Distress Inks with a blending tool to color the background then I spritzed it with water to make it distressed.  I put Clear Wink of Stella on the balloons.  I stamped the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink.  To finish off the card I used the newly released Sweetness sequins mix.

Day 3 January Release Craftin Desert Diva's FB Sneak Peeks

Hello! Today is day 3 of Craftin' Desert Diva's January Release Facebook Sneak Peeks!  Today we are showcasing the Lovies stamp set and Popped Up mini stamp set!

I made 2 cards today!  My first card I used the monkeys from the Lovies stamp set.  I had seen this card design on Pinterest and knew immediately that is what I wanted to do with these monkeys.  I colored them with my Copic markers then I cut them out using my new Brother Scan N Cut 2, which I am so in love with!! I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

For my second card I used the Popped Up mini stamp set, this lil gopher is just too cute!  For the tag and oval cutout I used the Banner Dies, the large scallop mat I used Fancy Frames dies and the small oval with the Hi sentiment is from the new Fancy Stitched Labels Dies.  I colored him with my Copic markers.

Day 2 Sneak Peeks for January Release at Craftin Desert Divas

Hello Friends! Today is Day 2 of Craftin' Desert Diva's January Release Facebook Sneak Peeks!  I am not in the line up today but I made a card with one of the stamps being showcased.  Today we are showcasing Kitchen Cuties 5x7 stamp set and Slow mini stamp set.

For my card today I used the Kitchen Cuties and the Fancy Stitched Label dies that were showcased yesterday along with an older stamp set, Simply Said for the inside sentiment.  I stamped two sets of cards.  One on white cs and one on kraft cs.  I colored the images with Copic markers.  This is a very simple but yet cute card!  I love the sentiments in this new set!
