Don't be a Grinch!

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog sharing with you a card I actually dreamed up!  I used the newly released Rudy & Tis the Season stamp sets.  For the present I used Owl-idays stamp set, the white stitched layer the image is stamped on is from Pocket Pieces HI Dies, the striped layer and banner are from Mix It Up dies.  I colored Rudy with my Spectrum Noir markers, I paper pieced the present with pattern paper.  I added Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to Rudy's hat and bow on the present.  I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder, scored the banner so that it folded to make it 3 dimensional, and mounted it with fun foam to pop it up.  Without further ado here he is.....

Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party-Sweet & Yummy

Happy Monday my Crafty Friends!  It's time for a new Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog and the theme is Sweet & Yummy!

I created a card using the Got Coffee stamp set, which is a super cute set for all the coffee lovers in your life, the newly released Chilly stamp set for the heart, the white stitched rectangle cs the image is stamped on is from Pocket Pieces HI Dies and I used the straight stitched die along the black and white striped cs and blue polka dotted cs from the newly released In Line Dies.  I colored the donuts with my copics using the no-line coloring technique.  For the sprinkles on the donuts I used some pens I have had forever in my stash but never used- Sakura's Souffle gel pens.  When the ink dries it is raised and shiny, very cool affect!

The black striped pattern paper is Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic 6x6 pad & the polka dotted paper is Simple Stories' Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  Pink CS is Stampin' Up! and the ribbon is from my stash.

For my project I made a card using the newly  released Thankful Squeaks and the newly released dies, Mix It Up dies and Pocket Pieces HI dies,and my all time favorite dies, Fancy Frames dies.  I colored my image with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.  The patterned paper I used is My Mind's Eye Collectable "Remarkable" 6x6 pad, Delightful 12x12 pad and Heidi Swapp Dreamy 6x6 pad.  The solid cardstock is Recollections from Michaels store.

 The rectangle the cornucopia is on is from Pocket Pieces HI Dies, the tag the sentiment is on and the scalloped rectangle frame is from Fancy Frames dies and the banners are from the Mix It Up dies.

CDD September Stamp Release FB Sneak Peeks Day 6

Today is the last day of the sneak peeks for the September stamp release at Craftin Desert Divas. All stamps and dies will be in the CDD shop tomorrow. We will have a 2 day release blog hop starting tomorrow.
