All Linky Parties will now be a maximum of 4 entries per person.

One 4"x 6" stamp set
One Digi Stamp of choice

Here is what I made..

For my card I used the Magical Wishes stamp set stamping the unicorn and rainbow in Versafine black ink, safe for watercoloring, onto Tim Holtz's watercolor paper.  I watercolored the images using Tim Holtz's distress inks.  I used Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen over all the images but it is hard to see as I couldn't get a good picture capturing it.  The circle is die cut from Stitched in Circle Dies, the clouds are from the Sky is the Limit Dies and banner is from the Flag Banner Dies.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today and you will join us in the Linky Party.

Here are all the CDD products I used:

CDD Sneak Peek Day 4 August Release

Hello Crafty Friends!

This week we are showcasing the August Release over at Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Event Page.   Come and join us for the Sneak Peeks and there are prizes to be won also!

Today is the last day of Sneak Peeks and tomorrow, the 22nd & 23rd, starts the Blog Hop starting here.

Here is my project for the new Your Wish stamp set.  This is stamp set is so very cute, funny and snarky just my style.

I stamped the monkey then masked him to stamp the genie and then masked her to stamp the carpet.  I colored the images with Copic markers, remasked them to use my distress inks with a blending tool to make the background.  I die cut the cloud from The Sky is the Limit Dies to make a template to use for making the background.  Although you can barely see the clouds they are there.  The reason why you can't see them is because I messed up around the girl and tried to use a marker to fix it.  Well, this made it worse so I took clean water and brush and just dabbed water to make more 'clouds' taking away the definitions of my original clouds.  I just went with it and spritzed some water droplets and also spritzed perfect pearls too.  So, the moral of the story is don't give up when you think you have ruined your entire piece!  It's not perfect but I didn't think it should've been thrown out.  :)  I popped dotted the cloud with fun foam.  The frame is cut using the large scallop die from Fancy Frame Dies.  The paper I used is X-press It Blending Card for Copics.  The pink and white cs is Core'denations from Joanns.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

I saw this design on Pinterest by Nichol Magouirk and thought it was too cute so I made one too. (lately my mojo is just gone so Pinterest is my best friend! LOL  I sure hope it finds its way home soon!)   I used Under the Sea stamp set, Chilly stamp set, The Sky is the Limit stamp set,  The Sky is the Limit Dies,  Mix It Up Dies, Fancy Frame Dies, Stitched Scallop Dies, and for the inside of the card I also used Bring on the Cake stamp set.  I colored my images with Copic markders,  The clouds were white embossed onto vellum cardstock.  I embossed the sentiments using Versafine black and clear embossing powder.  I added Wink of Stella to all the images here and there.

I hope you will come and join us and play along!

CDD's Linky Party-Photo Inspiration

Hello Crafty Friends!  It's Monday again and you know what that means?  That's right, it's the beginning of Craftin Desert Diva's new 2 week Linky Party!  The theme for this Linky Party is:

Photo Inspiration

Photo for your inspiration

Come and join us for a chance to win one of two prizes!
The Party Sponsors are:

CDD-1 stamp set

TCBJ-$25 Gift Card
(reg. priced patterns)

Here is my card I made:

I stamped the umbrella on 2 different cardstocks and cut them out and pieced it back together on the die cut umbrella.

I used the Fancy Frames on the gray cardstock then used the same die on the pink cs and inlaid it into the gray.  Then I used The Sky is the Limit dies to cut the cloud and the umbrella on the pink cs where I wanted them. I die cut the cloud and umbrella on the colored cs I wanted.  I then stamped the umbrella on 2 different pattern papers then cut them out and pieced it back together on the die cut umbrella.  This card is flat and not dimensional.  I used the heart from Wildly Cute and stamped it in pink, colored it in pink with my copic marker and went over it with Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.  The sentiment is from the Rain and Shine stamp set.
