The theme we were given this month was Pastel Flowers and this is what I made...

The rose stamp is one I have had for about 10 yrs, it's a Penny Black stamp.  I colored the roses with my Copic markers.  The 'Many' die is from Craftin Desert Diva's Wishful Thought Word Dies, cut twice, once in gold metallic paper and in black cs and the sentiment is from Wishful Thoughts stamp set, embossed with white embossing powder onto black cs.  I used Fancy Frame Dies for the scalloped mat and to finish it off I used Fairy Dust Sequins to add some sparkle.

I hope this has inspired you to come and join us!

The theme we were given this month was to use a Bunny and this is what I made...

My daughter's 23rd birthday was last month and she loves anything Disney so, I thought of the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.  I found this free digi stamp on the 'interweb' and printed it, colored with Copic markers and distressed the paper with Tim Holtz's distress inks.  The heart banner is from the Silhouette store as well as the scalloped oval inside of the card and the banner on the envelope.  I used a black pen in the Silhouette machine to write the sentiments using the free Alice in Wonderland font.  The diamond background stamp is an old Stampin Up background stamp inked in Tim Holtz's distress ink.  I made the matching envelope using WeR memory keepers Envelope punch board.

The sentiment on the heart says:
I couldn't forget,
Whatever I'd do,
To remember this day
That belongs
to you!

Inside says:
A Very Merry Un-happy
Birthday to you!

I hope this has inspired you to come and join us!

The theme we were given this month was the Color Green and this is what I made...

For this card I used a digi stamp, stamps and dies from Craftin Desert Divas shop, Leprechaun Boy digi, for the sentiment I used Happy Celebrations stamp set, Fancy Frames dies for the rectangle mats and Fancy Stitched Labels dies.  I colored the boy with Copic Markers and used Tim Holtz's distress inks around the image with my blending tool.  I dry embossed the white panel with my cuttlebug using a diamond plaid folder. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder and I used my white Gelly Roll pen for the dashes around the outer green mat.  I finished off the card with some CDD's green sequins.

The theme we were given this month was the Color Red and this is what I made...

I think this is one of my favorite cards I have ever made!  All of the products I used are from Craftin' Desert Diva's shop with the exception of the Martha Stewart heart border punch and the Cricut embossing folder!

I started off stamping my truck from Farmers Market stamp set onto white 110lb cs, then I masked the truck and stamped the heart, from Wildly Cute mini stamp set, and masked each heart before stamping the next.  I then colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with my new Brother Scan n Cut 2!  (I am so in love with this machine!!! Best investment next to the MISTI that I have purchased to date!)  It's hard to tell but I used Wink of Stella in clear over the hearts and glossy accents on the windshield and side window.  Next, I die cut a road using the hill die cut from Outdoor Landscape Dies on white cs and used my Tim Holtz distress inks with the blending tool to color the road.  For the 'trees' in the background I used the Stitched Scallop Dies  diecut in white cs and colored the same way as the road with TH distress inks.  For the sky I die cut the round stitched scallop using Stitched Circle Dies colored the same as the others. I then took the same circle die and die cut the road and treeline  then layered them on the sky circle to make my scene.  The banner is hand cut and the sentiment is from Farmers Market stamped in Versafine onyx black ink.  I dry embossed the cardbase with Cricut dots embossing folder on my Cuttlebug and used Martha Stewart's heart border punch on the red plaid pattern paper.  Tied a natural twine bow around the top and called it done!  And to be honest I haven't finished the inside yet!  Not sure what I want to do yet there!

I hope this has inspired you to come and join us!

January's theme is Snow!

Here is the card I created.....

I created my card using Craftin Desert Diva's  Polar Pals stamp set, Outdoor Landscape dies, Mix It Up dies.  I used Tim Holtz's distress inks to create my background and drew the trees with Lyra's polycolor pencils and a white gel pen for the snow.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  The snowflake background is dry embossed using a Darice embossing folder.

So, I hope this has inspired you to make a project to link up to our new monthly challenge!
