Happy Sweetest Day!

Hello Crafty Friends!! I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog today sharing a cute Valentine card with you!

I used the Wildly Cute mini stamp set for the zebra and the Happy Celebrations stamp set for the sentiment.  The heart balloon, string and bow are from the Party Dies set and the scallop frame is from my all time favorite dies set Fancy Frames.  I watercolored the background using Tim Holtz distress inks and then die-cut the heart balloon out of the background, then I die-cut 5 more heart balloons out of white cs and layered them and put the watercolored heart on top to make it pop up.  The zebra was colored with Copic markers.  I used Wink of Stella clear glitter on the heart balloon.

about  the prizes! Every Linky Party will have a winner and a Top 3!

Our Sponsors for this Linky Party are:

One 4"x 6" stamp set
One Digi Stamp of choice

$25 Gift Card (Regular Priced Items)

Here is what I made..

I used the kitty from Fright Night, I just love her, her hat is from the Chilly stamp set.  I stamp the hat then mask it with a post it note then stamp the cat over the hat and wa-la, she now is wearing a hat!  I cut the hill from the Outdoor Landscape dies for the snow hills and just used it as a 'stencil' and used my distress inks to make the sky.  I drew in my trees and fence using my Lyra Color Pencils and my white Gelly Roll pen for the snow.  For the scalloped frame I used my favorite dies, Fancy Frame Dies.  For the sentiment I used Animal Antics stamp set and the banner was handcut.  I colored the kitty and her hat with Copics. I embossed the fence and snowhill with white ink and glitter embossing powder, I then colored the fence with pencils.  I hope this has inspired you to come and join our Let It Snow Linky Party!

January's theme is Snow!

Here is the card I created.....

I created my card using Craftin Desert Diva's  Polar Pals stamp set, Outdoor Landscape dies, Mix It Up dies.  I used Tim Holtz's distress inks to create my background and drew the trees with Lyra's polycolor pencils and a white gel pen for the snow.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  The snowflake background is dry embossed using a Darice embossing folder.

So, I hope this has inspired you to make a project to link up to our new monthly challenge!

Hippo birdie-Wishing you tons of fun!

Hello Crafty Friends!   Today I am at Craftin Desert Diva's blog featuring Hippo Birdie which will be on sale for the next 3 days, Dec. 16, 17 & 18th.  For the month of December, every 3 days, a different stamp set will be featured here on the blog and on sale at 15% off!

The saying I used from Animal Antics stamp set gave me the idea for this card.  I just think this stamp is the cutest and so much can be done with it.  I also used Pocket Pieces HI dies for the white stitched rectangle cs and Mix It Up dies  for the banner, which I did some fancy partial die cutting to shorten it.  I colored my images with Copic markers.

Polar Pals Winter Wishes

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog sharing with you a few tags I made using the Polar Pals stamp set.  Polar Pals is the featured stamp set on sale right now until the 10th then a new set will be featured every 3 days for the month of December. For the tag I used the smaller of the two banners from the Banner Dies set, for the snow hill I die cut the hill from Outdoor Landscape dies and traced it to get the shape.  I used Tag Essentials dies for the circle re-enforcement on the tag.  I watercolored all the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I drew my trees in with my watercolor markers.
