CDD-Throwback Thursday-Busy Bees

Hey Crafty Friends!

Happy Thursday!

I am on Craftin Desert Diva's blog today for another Throwback Thursday.  Today I am showcasing Busy Bees and Stamp It Big stamp sets along with Stitched in Circle Dies.  

Here is what I created.....

I started off watercoloring stripes for my background on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz's distress paint in black.  I stamped the flowers from the Busy Bees stamp set on the medium sized stitched circle from Stitched in Circle Dies onto watercolor paper.  I then colored the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment from Say It Big stamp set.  I splattered the background and circle with black and gold paints.  I cut a black circle mat with my Cricut then die cut the large scallop die in pink from the Stitched in Circle dies.  Finishing off with a gold bow.

A Waddle Thanks-CDD Throwback Thursday

Hey Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog to welcome you to Throwback Thursday where each Thursday we showcase an older stamp set and or dies.  

Today I am sharing an all time favorite stamp set of mine, Punny Farm and some older dies!  I just love the cute little critters and sentiments in this set.  I created a CAS (clean and simple) card today using the duck.

I did a technique that my DT sister, Jan, shared with us a while back showing how to stamp the reverse of an image.  (Go here to see post.)  I colored my images with Copic markers, the background is done with TH's distress inks spritzed with water.  The grass pieces are from Build a Scene stamp set.  The mat was cut from Mix It Up dies, speech bubble is from In Line Dies and the hill is from Outdoor Landscape Dies.

Here is what I made..

I decided to make a shaker card with this sweet lil chick in his egg car from Bunny Trail.  I created a scene using the Outdoor Landscape dies for the grass and road using The Paper Studio, A Day at the Beach, pattern paper.  I cut out the Chick and eggs with my Brother Scan n Cut 2 and colored them using Copic Markers.  I used Pastel Paradise Sequins for the 'shaker'.  The circle frame is Stitched in Circle Dies and the banner is from Mix It Up Dies.  The striped paper is Embellish by Dana, Little Azalea and the polka dot paper is DCWV Floral Fair.

Here is what I made..

I love the newly released Bunny Trail stamp set to make this sweet Easter card.  I always received a pink weaved basket full of goodies for Easter and so this came to mind when I wanted to make this card.  I used Stitched in Circles Dies for the circle mats and the new Pastel Paradise Sequins for some bling.  The banners were hand cut.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.

Craftin Desert Diva's March Stamp Release Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to the CDD March Stamp Release Blog Hop.

Here's what I've created for you...

For my first card I used the new Build a Scene, Toad you mini, and Magical Wishes stamp sets.  I colored all of the images with Copic markers and the background was done using distress inks with the blending tools.  I diecut the mats using Fancy Frame Dies.  The sentiment is from an older stamp set, Summer Lovin.  For the pattern papers I used Doodlebug Designs paper pads, Hello Sunshine & Take Note.

For my 2nd card I used the new Build a Scene stamp set.  I used the bush to make the cluster of  'leaves' on the tree.  On the grass line I manipulated the stamp into a curve to make a hill.  The background and grass were colored with distress inks using a blending tool.  I colored the owl with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from the Punny stamp set.  The smaller mat rectangle is from the Mix It Up Dies and the large scallop mat is from Fancy Frame Dies.
