CDD Two for Tuesday-It's All About Zoo

Hey Crafty Friends!  Today is Two for Tuesday over at the CDD blog and DT sister Theresa, from Theresa's Crafty Creations, and I are using the lil elephant from It's all about Zoo stamp set.  I did a lot of masking on this card with the balloons.  I stamped all images in Versafine onyx black ink on watercolor paper then colored the images and background with Zig Clean Clear Colors Markers.  I also used the Outdoor Landscaping Dies for the hill cut in watercolor paper and colored with Zigs.  I love how bright this card turned out!

RIP!

Hey Crafty Friends!  I am over at the Kadoodle Bug Designs Blog today sharing a Halloween card I made using the Spooktacular Boys cut file.  I made an explosion card to make it look like Frankie is bursting out of his grave!  I used brown paper and inked it with black, put fun foam under it to give it dimension so that it would look like a mound of dirt for a grave.  I love Halloween and for me the spookier the better! LOL  I hope you enjoy!!

Here is my tutorial for an explosion card I made last year.

Aw Shucks! You're A-maze-ing

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's Blog sharing a card I made using the recently released Farmers Market stamp set, Fancy Frames Dies, Outdoor Landscaping Dies and Corn Maze Sequins.

I stamped the bucket and front corn with Versafine* onyx black ink then masked them off and then I stamped more corn and before I would stamp another corn I would mask off each new corn that was stamped.  I then colored the images and ground with Copic Markers and used Tim Holtz's distress inks for the sky. I originally used distress inks for the ground but when I went to make the shadows for the bucket and corn it didn't look right so I just colored over the entire ground with my copics.  I used the Outdoor Landscaping dies as a mask for the ground and sky.  I then die cut the scene using the large scallop frame from the Fancy Frames Dies, stamped the sentiments then added some sequins for a lil bling.  I also tied jute string around the top of the card for dimension.

*Note-although I stamped my images in Versafine ink you usually are supposed to use Memento ink with copics but I didn't realize it until I was done.  Luckily it didn't bleed.

Happy Halloween

Hey Crafty Friends!  Stoppin' by to share a quick card I made using Kadoodle Bug Designs Cutie KaToodle-Witch Way to the Candy and Craftin Desert Diva's Happy Celebration stamp set.  I just used the hat and candy corn from the pattern.  I water-colored the background using a mix of Tim Holtz's distress ink and Tombow markers, then splattered the card with all the inks.  I then embossed the image using Versafine onyx black ink and clear embossing powder.  I popped dotted the hat and 2 of the candy corns.  Very simple!

A Harvest of Love-CDD photo inspiration challenge

Hey Crafty Friends!  Sharing a card I made today for Craftin Desert Diva's Photo Inspiration going on at CCD Gallery FB page.  I used Autumn Wishes and matching dies, Farmers Markets and Fancy Frames Dies.

Photo Inspiration

I embossed the background using Versamark Ink with clear EP on Glossy Paper then I brayered over the cs with an old inkpad I have had for years called Kaleidacolor Raised Rainbow Dye Inkpad-Autumn Leaves.  I stamped the squirrel with Versafine onyx black ink and watercolored with very old Tombow markers.  So, know that these brand items last for years, I am talking 10yrs +!  I think that is awesome!

I then cut out the frames and banner using the Fancy Frames Dies from CDD inked the edges with chalk inks and stamped the sentiment in Versafine onyx black.  The ribbon is very old too!  It paper rafia ribbon.

I am always drawn to oranges, purples and greens which equal Halloween for me!!  It is my favorite Holiday and I just love all the lil pumpkins, black cats, ghosts & goblins, well just anything pertaining to Halloween! LOL  I got my inspiration from Kristina Werner, she is one of my favorite paper crafting artist! She has awesome tutorials on her youtube channel, go check her out here if you haven't yet! Here is my card:

I used several stamp sets for this card. (see below)  I stamped the frog and pumpkins (I masked the pumpkins with a post it note each time I wanted one to 'go' behind the other and to stamp the frog so he looked like he is behind the pumpkins) with Versafine onyx black ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  But before I colored the frog and pumpkins I used liquid masking fluid to cover them, once that was dry I then watercolored the background with Tim Holtz Distess Ink pads and splattered white paint on top. I put glossy accents on the frogs eyes.  The speech bubble is from Cricut Design Space and the sentiment is stamped in Versafine onyx black ink.

Here are the CDD Products I used:

Autumn Wishes
Happy Celebrations

Farmers Market
Rain or Shine
I hope y'all will come and join us!  We love seeing your creations!

Witch Owls

Hey Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Kadoodle Bug Designs Blog sharing a simple scrapbook page I made using the Cutie KaToodles Witchy Owls from Kadoodle Bug Designs.  I popped dotted the owls to give them dimension.  I used my clear Wink of Stella brush pen on their hats, spider and bubbles.  I inked all the edges with chalk inks.  For the picture frames I used Sizzix Big Shot Large Scallop Square and cut a smaller square to layer inside.  I drew the black lines with a black pen.  So, without further ado here it is:
