Hippo birdie-Wishing you tons of fun!

Hello Crafty Friends!   Today I am at Craftin Desert Diva's blog featuring Hippo Birdie which will be on sale for the next 3 days, Dec. 16, 17 & 18th.  For the month of December, every 3 days, a different stamp set will be featured here on the blog and on sale at 15% off!

The saying I used from Animal Antics stamp set gave me the idea for this card.  I just think this stamp is the cutest and so much can be done with it.  I also used Pocket Pieces HI dies for the white stitched rectangle cs and Mix It Up dies  for the banner, which I did some fancy partial die cutting to shorten it.  I colored my images with Copic markers.

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog sharing with you a few tags I made using the Polar Pals stamp set.  Polar Pals is the featured stamp set on sale right now until the 10th then a new set will be featured every 3 days for the month of December. For the tag I used the smaller of the two banners from the Banner Dies set, for the snow hill I die cut the hill from Outdoor Landscape dies and traced it to get the shape.  I used Tag Essentials dies for the circle re-enforcement on the tag.  I watercolored all the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I drew my trees in with my watercolor markers.

CDD Linky Party - Christmas

Hello and Happy Monday!! I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  I can't believe tomorrow is Dec. 1st already! This year has just flown by!  Well, today starts a new CDD Linky Party and the theme is.....

And since Christmas is fast approaching this will be an extended linky party and it will end Dec. 20th.

For my project I made some Holiday tags!  Now, I used a ton of stamps and a few dies to make these tags but they were super easy to make!  Warning: photo heavy!! :)

I started with Stitched in Circles dies and cut 2 per tag, 1 in colored cs, 1 in white cs. Then I used the Outdoor Landscape dies to cut my snow hills, cutting 1 per tag, then I took the circle die and cut the snow hills so that they fit perfectly on the round tag.  For the loop holder I used the small circle from the Tag Essentials dies die cutting 2, 1 one colored cs & 1 in white cs.

For the Fleece Navidad tag I used Punny Farm stamp set, Holly Day Punnies stamp set, the antlers are from the Chill Out stamp set,  I colored the sheep with copics and embossed the trees with white embossing powder on blue cs.  I used the matching SVG's to cut out all the images.

The holly berries are from Tis the Season stamp set & the To: & From: are from the Tag It stamp set.

For the penguin tag I used the Chill Out stamp set and for the background I used the new Across the Borders stamp set, embossing it in white glitter embossing powder.  I cut the images out with the matching SVG's and colored them with copics.  I used glossy accents on the ornaments and Wink of Stella clear glitter on the snow and star.
I used the same stamp set Tag It for the To & From.

For the owl tag I used the Owl-idays  stamp set and the Across the Borders Background stamp set.  I cut the images out with the matching SVG's and colored the images with copics.  I used a gold Wink of Stella glitter pen for the bows and dots.

And don't forget about the prizes! Every linky party will have a sponsor and a winner, plus a top 3! The winner will be announced on a semi-weekly basis. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win!! Sponsors will be announced at the beginning of every linky party.

Sending Christmas Cheer

Hello Crafty Friends!  Today I am over at Craftin Desert Diva's blog sharing a Christmas card I made using some brand new stamps and dies and some older stamps and dies.  How awesome was this latest product release?  I totally LOVED it!!  When I saw the new Across the Border stamp set this scene came to my mind and I just had to make it!  The lil reindeer in Holiday Helpers is one of my favorite stamps!

For the trail I used the Outdoor Landscape hill die, once die cut, I cut on the dash line since the dash lines were not on the same side of each opening. ( I know, confusing but it's hard to explain, sorry)  I stamped several rows of the stars in versamark ink and embossed in Gold Tinsel embossing powder, then blended Tim Holtz's distress ink in tumbled glass over the stars.  I made the background with Tim Holtz's distress inks and a blending tool, splattered with water and Perfect Pearls and added white dots with a white gel pen.  I colored Rudolph with Copic markers.

The Banner and the stars on the banner are from the new Pocket Pieces Hello Dies and the sentiment is from Simply Christmas stamp set, embossed in the same Gold Tinsel embossing powder.  I hope you enjoy! :)
