Hello Crafty Friends!  I wanted to share with y'all 2 videos I made showing you how to make a scene with digital stamps using the Silhouette Studio Software, although I am sure this would work in any software.

***Disclaimer***

I am by no means an expert at anything.  I just wanted to share how I made a scene using digi stamps.  This is my very first video tutorial so, please be kind when commenting. :)  Thank you!

Here is what I made..

For my card I used the lil girl from Happy Thoughts stamp set.  I stamped her in Versafine onyx black ink onto Tim Holtz's watercolor paper.  I then watercolored her using Tim Holtz's distress markers by coloring them onto an acrylic block and picking up the color with my brush.  I also watercolored the background using the same technique.  I diecut the balloon from the Party Dies in watercolor paper then colored it to match her shirt.  The sentiment is from Simply Said stamp set and I embossed it in white embossing powder and hand cut the banner.  I added sequins using the new Sweetness sequins.  I cut the watercolor paper down and added fun foam to the back for dimension and adhered it to Recollections 110lb cs.

Go Wild!

Hello Crafty Friends!  I am over at Craftin' Desert Diva's blog today sharing a birthday card for Throwback Thursday, where every Thursday we showcase and older stamp set!  I am showcasing It's All About Zoo stamp set and several dies, Mix It Up dies, Stitched in Circles dies, Fancy Frame diesOutdoor Landscape dies, Stitched Scallop dies and 2 sequin mixes, Couture sequins and Trick or Treat sequins.

This stamp set has the cutest lil critters in it!  I just love this lil monkey!  I colored him with Copic markers and cut him out with the Brother Scan n Cut 2 but there are matching SVG's to go with this stamp set.  To make the scene I used my Tim Holtz's distress inks to color my white cs then die cut out the grass, tree and stitched circle dies using all the above dies.  I dry embossed the tree trunk with a Paper Studio embossing folder with my Cuttlebug.  I embossed the sentiment in Tinsel Gold embossing powder.  Added a few sequins and gold ribbon and it was done!

The theme we were given this month was the Color Red and this is what I made...

I think this is one of my favorite cards I have ever made!  All of the products I used are from Craftin' Desert Diva's shop with the exception of the Martha Stewart heart border punch and the Cricut embossing folder!

I started off stamping my truck from Farmers Market stamp set onto white 110lb cs, then I masked the truck and stamped the heart, from Wildly Cute mini stamp set, and masked each heart before stamping the next.  I then colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with my new Brother Scan n Cut 2!  (I am so in love with this machine!!! Best investment next to the MISTI that I have purchased to date!)  It's hard to tell but I used Wink of Stella in clear over the hearts and glossy accents on the windshield and side window.  Next, I die cut a road using the hill die cut from Outdoor Landscape Dies on white cs and used my Tim Holtz distress inks with the blending tool to color the road.  For the 'trees' in the background I used the Stitched Scallop Dies  diecut in white cs and colored the same way as the road with TH distress inks.  For the sky I die cut the round stitched scallop using Stitched Circle Dies colored the same as the others. I then took the same circle die and die cut the road and treeline  then layered them on the sky circle to make my scene.  The banner is hand cut and the sentiment is from Farmers Market stamped in Versafine onyx black ink.  I dry embossed the cardbase with Cricut dots embossing folder on my Cuttlebug and used Martha Stewart's heart border punch on the red plaid pattern paper.  Tied a natural twine bow around the top and called it done!  And to be honest I haven't finished the inside yet!  Not sure what I want to do yet there!

I hope this has inspired you to come and join us!
