You are awesome sauce!

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am over on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog today sharing with you a slider card I made using the Adventure Land Tiny SentimentsMix It Up Dies and Flag Banner Dies.

I got my inspiration from Jennifer McGuire's video she made this past week.  This scene came to me as I was thinking of what would make a good slider card.

I stamped the alien in the space ship with Memento black ink, colored with Copic markers and added glossy accents over the lights and window.  I hand cut the 'light' coming from the ship and used distress ink to color it yellow.  I embossed the sentiment in black embossing powder.  I used watercolor paper to make the galaxy and planet using distress inks, white paint and Perfect Pearls for the splatters.  I used the a banner from the Flag Banner Dies to make my flag.  The sentiment on the flag is stamped in blue metallic ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The arrow on the pull tab is from the Mix It Up Dies.

Here's what I've created for you...

I used the new Sweet Season stamp set.  These lil gingerbreads are just too cute!  I stamped them in Memento Black ink and colored them with my Copic markers then fussy cut them out.  To make the white frame I used the large frame die from Mix It Up dies and used my cutter to cut out the middle to make the frame.  I used the Stitched Scallop dies to make my pink and purple 'bushes' and the white hill is from Outdoor Landscape dies which I covered in clear stickles. The pink, purple and blue background are cut with watercolor paper and colored using distress inks and a blending tool.  I added stickles dots to make the 'snow'.

Here is what I made..

For my card today I kept it clean and simple.  I saw a similar card on Pinterest and thought it was a perfect sketch for this card.  I used the sweet lil mouse from Got Coffee stamp set and the heart on the coffee cup and next to the sentiment is from the Chilly stamp set.  I stamped the mouse in Memento Tuxedo Black ink then colored with my Copic markers.  I added Wink of Stella in clear over the hearts.  I wrapped baker's twine around the panel added an enamel dot on top.  The panel is popped up with fun foam.  The striped ribbon is glued directly to the card panel.

This concludes my card for today!  I hope you are inspired to come and join us for the Coffee Linky Party!
