What the Cluck is new with you?

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am up on Craftin Desert Diva's Blog sharing a card I made using Farm Living stamp set, Punny Farm stamp set, Stitched in Circle Dies, Flag Banner Dies, and Crazy Stitched Frame Dies.

This sentiment is one of my most favorites from CDD.  I made a little scene using the rooster and fence from the Farm Living stamp set stamped onto watercolor paper.  I then colored everything using distress inks as watercolors, scribbling them onto my craft mat and picking up with my wet brush.  I diecut the large stitched frame from Crazy Stitched Dies in white cs and then I partially diecut the stitched circle from Stitched in Circle Dies out of the frame.  I also diecut the rooster scene with the same circle die.  I popped up the crazy stitched frame using craft foam onto my card base, the rooster scene is glued directly to the card base.  I heat embossed with black embossing powder the sentiment from Punny Farm onto a banner from Flag Banner Dies.
*the design of the card is from a card I saw on Pinterest*

Thanks for stoppin' by!

Today starts week 2 of Craftin Desert Diva's Create a Scene Linky Party.  For my inspiration card I made a Father's Day card using the truck from Farmer's Market and the sentiment is from Happy Celebrations and the red stitched frame is from Mix It Up dies.  I colored the truck with Copic markers then added glossy accents to the windshield and wheels.  I also used my Copics to make the matching plaid background.  Quick, easy and cute!

I hope that this has inspired you to come and play along with us!

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive.

New $1.00 sequins....

Here's what I've created for you...

I created this fun card using the Fair Fun stamp set.  I had envisioned this water balloon scene with the lil bears hanging for the prizes.  I stamped the water balloons and bears onto Tim Holtz's watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Real Color Brush Markers.  I used the new Crazy Stitched Frame dies to cut out the watercolor paper and colored in the 'ribbon' from the die.  For the canopy I used Fancy Frame Dies by folding a 1 1/2" piece of patterned cs and diecut just along the edge and sides and gluing fun foam  to the inside to make it 'pop' open.  The sentiment is embossed on a banner from Flag Banner Dies.

For my 2nd project I used the new Greeting Word Dies and Tiny Sentiments...

To make the sun rays I used the straight stitched die from the In Line Stitched Dies using TH's watercolor paper. The circle stitched die is from the Stitched in Circle Dies set.  I then used TH's distress inks with a blending tool to color the sun and rays.  I diecut the 'Blessed' directly on the watercolor paper and then diecut 'Blessed' 5 times using reg cardstock to make it pop up.  The tiny sentiments was stamped in black Versafine ink.
