Shaped Card Project at LSHD

Hello, this week at LSHD the Design Team all made shaped cards for our project.  Please go to the blog and see the spectacular cards that were made! I really enjoyed making this one:

LSHD will be taking a break from challenges for the summer and will start back up in Sept. The Design Team will however, still be creating fabulous projects to post each week on the blog plus also posting on the fan page everyday.

A Salute to our Heroes

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend! Today I am sharing a page I made in honor of our Heroes! I used the military kids from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

 I also made the Patriotic Kids using Kyle and Kimmy and the chihuahua from LSHD.

Scraplift Challenge at LSHD May 13-19

Good morning!

Hope all you awesome Mom's had a fantastic Mother's Day!

This week's Design Team Challenge is a Scraplift Challenge.

Each member of the Design Team chose one of their favorite sketches and created a layout.

The Challenge is for you to "scraplift", or copy, one of the DT member's layouts.

To participate in the Scraplift Challenge, scraplift one of the DT layouts and make sure you use a Little Scraps of Heaven Designs paper piecing on your project.  Then upload a photo of your finished project to the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Facebook page or HERE.  To be eligible to win you need to have your project posted before 8:00 pm central time.

We will choose a winner on Monday, May 20th. The winner will receive $25.00 in FREE Patterns!

To participate in the Layout Challenge, create a layout following the sketch and make sure you use a Little Scraps of Heaven Designs paper piecing on your project.  Then upload a photo of your finished project to the Facebook Fan Page or HERE .

They call me the Fireman, that's my name....

My husband taught our little 3 yr old nephew to sing this song when he wears his fireman hat.  It is so cute!! I used the In my community fireman pattern from LSHD and instead of the bear used a little boys head from Quite a Pair.  I made the saying myself in Silhouette Design Studio.
